Our program includes a lot of theory and practical lessons apart from Volunteering at the medicine clinic. We hire expert teachers for the lessons. Also our program covers everything from arrival till departure and our program fee covers the costs associated with the same.
Our program fee covers :

Our program in Kerala is located in the City of Kannur. Kannur is well connected by train with all major cities in India. The closest airport is in Calicut(Kozhikode)
No. But you need to have an affinity towards eastern culture and traditions and come with an open mind.
We use Home stay as a accommodation for our volunteers.
Yes, you would need a Visa. Most volunteers coming on a short term program come on a Tourist Visa.
The project is available all through out the year with no fixed start dates. Volunteers are free to start on any date of their choice.
Yes, once we have confirmed your placement we shall send you our pre-departure kit and project kit which has more details about what to pack, what to expect and how to better prepare yourself. Yes, we do provide airport pickup and its included in the program fee.
Yes. While volunteering at the Medicinal clinic you would be helping the Medicine man with the treatments and have an opportunity to work closely with the locals.

No. Alcohol and smoking is prohibited at the home stay.
Not really but we expect female volunteers to dress conservatively as that would help them blend in with the local culture. Avoid short skirts, tank tops, spagetti tops etc.
The best way to prepare yourself for this experience would by knowing what to expect. Read as much as you can about India, its culture, way of life etc. Talk to your friends who have have to India before and get to know what’s it like.
Reduce protein content in your diet as the meals at the home-stay are going to be primarily vegetarian.
Yes, weekends are free for volunteers to travel and explore the beautiful state of Kerala.
Yes, one of our local representatives would be at the airport to receive you. We shall forward you our pre-deparute kit before you fly to India.
